Our Childcare Programs

Infants program

6 months – 2 years

At Strive Early Learning, we aim to nurture a lifelong love for learning through a curriculum that respects and supports each child’s individual developmental path. Our Infant & Toddler programme employs the RIE Educaring Approach, focusing on respectful, unhurried interactions that align with each child’s natural rhythms. This foundation of trust and security is essential for their emotional and cognitive growth. In our Prep School Programme, we combine the Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies to create a stimulating and enriching environment. Children participate in a range of activities designed to cater to their multiple intelligences, promoting independence, collaboration, and curiosity.

Preschool

3-5 years

The Pre-Lit (Pre-Literacy) Programme for children aged 3 to 5 at Strive Early Learning emphasises the development of crucial early literacy skills. Activities include language development, phonological awareness, print awareness, alphabet knowledge, and emergent writing, all aimed at preparing children for future academic success. Regular storybook reading sessions help to instil a love for books and reading. With these thoughtfully integrated approaches, we provide a comprehensive, respectful, and enriching educational experience that supports your child’s holistic development and fosters a lifelong passion for learning.

Meet our Director

Mayerling Baladi

My name is Mayerling Baladi, and I am a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with over eight years of experience in children’s education in Australia.

I am a dedicated educator with a strong passion for children’s learning and development, and I value the opportunity to share both my personal and professional experiences with children, families, and fellow educators.

My vision for children is simple: every child is unique. Each child deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated for who they are, with their learning journey guided by respect, care, and intentionality.

I am committed to creating nurturing, empowering, and inclusive environments where children feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive.

I am equally passionate about mentoring educators and fostering strong, collaborative relationships with families. Supporting teams to grow, respect, and care for one another has been a central pillar of my work. I take pride in building positive, supportive cultures where educators feel inspired, confident, and empowered to contribute and evolve.

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that children are competent and curious learners who thrive when given the space, trust, and opportunities to explore the world around them. I view the environment as the “third teacher,” recognising that thoughtfully designed spaces, together with the presence of caring and mindful adults, play a vital role in supporting children’s development and learning.

I chose Strive Early Learning because its philosophy of cultivating curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning aligns strongly with my own values and passion for early childhood education.
