Our Childcare Programs
Infants program
At Strive Early Learning, we believe in fostering a love for learning through a curriculum that respects and nurtures each child’s unique developmental journey. Our Infant & Toddler program follows the RIE Educaring Approach, emphasizing respectful, unhurried interactions that align with each child’s natural rhythms. This foundation of trust and security is crucial for their emotional and cognitive growth. For our Prep School Program, we blend Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies to create a rich, stimulating environment. Children engage in a variety of activities that cater to their multiple intelligences, promoting independence, collaboration, and curiosity.
Preschool
Our Pre-Lit (Pre-Literacy) Program for children aged 3 to 5 focuses on essential early literacy
skills. Activities in language development, phonological awareness, print awareness, alphabet knowledge, and emergent writing are designed to prepare children for future academic success. Regular storybook reading sessions further instil a love for books and reading. Through these thoughtfully integrated approaches, we provide a comprehensive, respectful, and enriching educational experience that supports your child’s holistic development and lifelong passion for learning.

FAQS
How do I enrol my child?
If you’re interested in enrolling, we encourage you to book tour of the Strive ELC childcare centres that are closest to you. Families are welcome and encouraged to visit as many Strive childcare centres as they like. It’s important that you find the right centre, staff team, and facilities that will best nurture and support your child.
During your tour you will have the opportunity to meet the Centre Manager, learn more about education program, and ask any questions you may have about the program or facilities. We encourage families to get a good feel for what we do so they understand what’s so special about our educational approach and teaching approach.
If you are interested in starting, the Centre Manager will provide you with an Enrolment Kit or Waiting List depending on your expected start date and centre vacancies. A member of our Family Care Team will follow up with you after the tour to answer any outstanding questions and to assist you with the paperwork.
If you join the Waiting List, you will receive quarterly updates on your child’s status, as well as useful information about the centre, and Strive ELC learning resources.
How does the waitlist work and when will my child be offered a position?
Strive’s waiting list is not numbered, but rather, it considers each child’s unique age-group, preferred days, and schedule of attendance.
Where available, we will contact families 4-6 weeks out from their preferred starting date to advise them of the latest vacancies and enrolment options. Positions for January/February may be offered from as early as September (prev. year) after reviewing graduates and classroom transitions among existing families.
What should I prepare ahead of being offered a spot?
- Tour: Complete a campus tour with your child/ren
- 2-Day Minimum: including a Monday or Friday unless approved otherwise
- Full Toilet Training is required to enrol in a preschool/kinder classroom due to the absence of nappy change facilities
- Completed Enrolment Form which is separate to the Waitlist Form
- Medical Information & Action Plan from GP (where required)
- Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) for child/ren
- Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) for the guardian claiming the Child Care Subsidy (where required)
- Immunisation History Statement from Medicare
- Birth certificate and photo of your child/ren
Unsure what a CRN is? If you can’t find your CRN, or don’t know if you have one, you’ll need to follow the steps to get a CRN. For more information, you can visit Services Australia.
What support is available for families in financial hardship?
If your family is experiencing financial hardship, we encourage you to reach out to our Family Care Team, so that we can connect you with the support services available.
Depending on your circumstances, there may be government assistance your family is entitled to that will assist with covering your childcare fees.
